So I know that water ingress in a defender is a borderline feature but I really need a bit of help stopping it. The seal between the tub and the bottom of the hard top is doing a poor job on both sides. As is the seal between the bottom of the windscreen and the bulkhead. Does anyone know the part numbers or the names of these seals as I cannot find them online. It's a defender 90 300tdi. Thanks

When I completely rebuilt my 110 16yrs ago with new seals everywhere I did a water test on it before I refitted any interior stuff.
I had water coming in where you mention and plenty of other places too. I took it all apart again and
I bedded all the new seals on non setting mastic (dum dum- not available anymore but put that into eBay search and a product sold by wayside is pretty close) and 16yrs later I still have no leaks.

It sounds like the jobs a goodin. will give it a try, can't wait until I am able to put stuff in the back and not worry about it getting soaked. I could have bought a golf for my first car but where is the fun in that.
