Someone with a suspension lift must have done this...
Im trying to change the 300 tdi (crap) rear prop for a 200 tdi one with 2 UJs on it as 2" lift is eating rubber donuts....
I realise that the flange needs to be changed from 3 bolt to 4 bolt one but the 4 bolt flange is shorter and will not fit the axle pinion correctly
Do I need to put a 200tdi pinion housing on the 300 axle to accept the 4 bolt flange? is this easy and has anyone got an old 200 rear axle breaking?
