I've never seen any off roaders give bobbles any grief, but I've seen it time and again the other way round. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but I've never experienced it.

I've been on the receiving end of abuse myself a few times, and this is even when I've pulled over and switched off to allow walkers/horses easy passage. Been outright blanked/scowled at for saying hello to ramblers whilst pulled over.

I just don't think toffs like the hoy paloy in the countryside, and they associate offroading with the lower echelons of society.

Some good news and common sense! I particularly liked the comment about walkers and cyclists arriving in cars and adding to the pollution.
