Indeed!
I've just done the cam chain and guides on that particular one and the discovery2 recently had it's cylinder head done. The only one thats tickling along nicely mechanically is the classic but that did just get all of the floor replaced and it is my fathers and due to return to Hampshire next week (We shall miss that car). My Wife said of it the first time she drove it it was like driving an old friend.
Anyway, the update on the FL is that again there doesn't seem to be a huge water loss, but there is some, maybe half a mugful...water moves well when squeezed up into the exp tank but no real attempt at flow when ticking over and now there is foam when the very small bore plastic radiator/block return pipe is removed from the exp tank. again not much and with two stops and pressure release i can happily drive from Shropshire to Aberdovey without any concern which makes me wonder about the HG but in my experience they do do weird things.
It has had a new thermostat, Exp Tank and pressure cap and i have stripped of the inlet and checked and resealed the manifold.

Cheers, Nick.

Sooo had another look at Monty and having attached a hose and pressurised and flushed the system i found a little fountain of water escaping from the seal on the Intake manifold. I have cleaned it and cut the pipe, reseated it and cleand the clip up and there no is no leak. It wasn't huge but i feel that if it can get out there under pressure it could probably realese enough to cause an airlock. i shall be roadtesting in a mo...
