Solved the problem but lost me pictures:rolleyes:

Problem was that the handbrake bracket from the Defender T/Box would not fit the Disco T/Box as you all know.
So what did I do?
Well I used the Disco bracket and looking at the bracket from the drivers side (r/hand drive) this is what I did.
I cut the spacing tubes from the rear of the bracket, (the ones that space it out at the handbrake drum end) and ground the bracket smooth at that point.
Then I turned the bracket anti clockwise through 180 degrees so that it was now upside down and the cable comes in from the top rear instead of the bottom front.
Then I removed the actuating lever (the one that pulls the cable) and fitted the Defender item in its place, making sure the long part was at the top. Might have to flatten the lever as it's cranked, depends on how it mates up to the arm coming out of the handbrake drum when fitted up.
Now all I need is two spacing tubes and two longer bolts (the disco ones might be long enough) to bolt to the back of the box and it should all work nicely.
I photographed it all as I did it but accidently deleted all me pics from the camera
Hope that reads ok, it was pretty easy to do and I can now keep me defender handbrake cable and it'll work Ok.
