Possibly might only be relevant to Irish members. Aldi are doing a 6W solar panel/trickle charger for 30 euro at the minute, got one a few days ago and even in poor lighting conditions was pushing out 12.5-13V. Think they came in last thursday.

UK Aldi has them in for £24.99
For that kind of money you can get a 20 watt panel. Your 6 watt panel might put out 12.5/13 volts in poor light but the charging current will be the best part of bugger all. In heavily overcast conditions in winter, my 20 watt panels via a charge controller can produce as little as 30 ma.

Getting between 30 and 50 ma in here. Getting .3A outside. Strangely very sunny here at the minute!

A3 ? I wonder what technology it's using, the panels I'm using are about A3 and produce 20 watts.
This is a pic of the rear of it. Doesn't give much info really. Don't want to go digging too much into it at the minute, it's doing it's job at the mo. Not really up on solar panel tech either to be honest.
