Soft top conversion for my 90, and do series doors fit

Im wanting to convert my truck cab 90 into a soft top for the summer months. Not having to much trouble finding the kit to do this, but any advice will definately help.
But my bigger issue is i see defenders with removable door tops, like a series. Are these just series doors put on defenders. Because i really want some.

Buy one. Put it on.

Series doors fit, just need to change door strikerplates cos the latch is lower. But the hinge boltholes are the same.

Hi mate, you defo won't regret it, stuck one on the series and loved it so much i bought one for the 90...trying to see if the disco can lose it's top too!!

If you buy a new top then make sure you do it up real tight for a couple of weeks so when it gets wet it won't shrink in the wrong places. Also measure repeatedly before fitting the tabs down the body sides and the windscreen bar etc.

They really are very simple, i can stick some pics up if you want or a step by step set of destructions for fitting it?

Thanks for the advice guys, some good tips. A step by step guide would be amazing, seen as its quite a bit of money to waste if i do it wrong.
