So new I haven't bought the Land Rover yet!

Yes it's true, I haven't!
However that could have all changed by this time tomorrow as I've got three to view tomorrow.
A 2000 Disco S 5 seat
A 2002 Disco GS 7 seat
and A 2004 Disco pursuit. 5 seat
So far the GS is looking favourable!
It will be the first Landy I've ever owned and a replacement for our ageing but faithful 2.5 sport Jeep XJ.

Thanks guys,
I think I'm leaning towards a pre-facelift D2 as I don't fancy waking up to find I've no headlamps! I've seen a couple locally that have been hit and it's putting me off the facelifts! which is a shame as I think they look the DB's.
Irrespective though........It's still gonna get smartwatered!

Hello and welcome :D

Just counting down the days now folks!
Looking like Tuesday for the collection from the dealers who specialise in LR's.
with 12 months MOT, Serviced, months warranty, new rear door actuator fitted and new spare key supplied and coded I'm looking forward to getting it. I could have had it this Weekend but decided to wait for the key sorting before I collected. The other advantage is they're within walking distance of our house, so if there's any issues I've not got far to go!:)

Welcome to the fun world of Disco owners, or maybe I should say funny old world. The one thing to remember now that you have that wonderful piece of machinery is that each and every Disco are a law onto themselves, there's no two anywhere in the world the same, They all seem to have different little quirks which you'll have to learn, and then find out how to deal with. But the one thing about most of them is that if you treat them right, then you wont have too many problems. Oh yeah the months warranty ****. I think you'll find that you're right in law is six months, no matter what the guy in the shiny suit that sold it to you said....
