So much for land rover time!! :.)

Just got back from to 2 weeks working away, and had great plans to do some work on the old girl, starting with adjusting the tappets looking at the oil leak on the rear axle, wirebrush the chassis and waxoil it,
BUT NO I get back to find the landys is the least of the problem, well apart from for some reason shes got a totally flat battery( ok before the wise cracks start it wasnt flat it was just discharged lol) i think i left some thing switched on, DOOH
I found that my car had hit a pot hole and needed a new lower wishbone,and then my partner said "ive got a light on in my car" (now this is a blonde hairdresser for you) so i look to find the brake fluid is low so after investigating it needed a new caliper, while doing this i noticed a deip of water on the floor, yes you have the water pump was foooked aswell and yes as the brake fluide, the expansion bottle was empty aswell. so after a day working on these still no further on the landy, except the battery is done, ah well always another day tomorrow, oh no its a football tournament day GGrr I wanted to take the landy thought could sneak off and do a couple of bits, but no my wings have been clipped and we have to take the car
