Your joking aren't you? NEVER give bank details, makes me laugh when on ebay that they ask for your details for funds transfer for afew quid lol

We got afew of those things selling a car a while back through the loot.

Makes me laugh how gullible some people must be to a)try these things and b) some people are so daft to accept them!!!

I have replied stating that I will sell only for cash and will deal only with the person handing the cash over and giving their details for the change of keeper slip. How unreasonable of me.

Really you think it might be some one trying to get his bank details so they can empty his account? I can't believe anyone would be that nasty. I'm sure your wrong. I think he should sell it to him and not worry so much.

I've got an old Bank Account, which I don't use any more, but is still open. It's got £1.20 in it. I wonder what would happen if I gave those details?
It must cost them something to pull off one of those scams?

Sent jp an email pointing out that i would deal only with cash and with the buyer as I would need them to fill in the change of ownership details in front of myself

'Thanks for the transparency. I had spoken to my client about your condition but he disagreed. He said he can only do a transfer and the money would be credited within 48hours. He told me he prefered to transfer the funds direct to the seller which i think is true and i reasoned with him. So no point of he sending the money to me. Let me know if you still want to sell or you are free to tell me to quit so that i can look for another seller. Cheers
