We had a good 6" of snow in less than 15 hours today; needless to say to whole area ground into utter chaos and gridlock!!
SWMBO was due her regular session swimming with the kids ( she drives a Freelander but not too confident in ****e weather like today) so I took them in the RR; main (flat) roads into town gridlocked, so I went the long way....into the hills .

Range pulled through everything, low-range down the steep stuff, and never put a foot wrong, couldn't say the same for most other boxes on the road today! :D

I am trying not to drive mine, salt every where.
I had to pick up a customers car for repair so I thought I would use a 1972 diesel Land Rover that belongs to another customer of mine but the bloody thing would not start.
:)

Serves you right for using someone elses car! :p

First proper snowfall for us in Wilts overnight. Country roads all the way in saw 5 rangies of varying ages and a defender or two. I'm sure the car was saying "why are we going so slowly!"
Great fun, snow a complete irrelevance to it. Nice 4 wheel slides around the corners.
