hi there,
i recently join this forum, so i guess i better let every one know a bit about me and my defenders.
i am an yorkshire boy from origan, but have moved out to sweden about two years ago.
i brought with me my old slow but friendly TD 110. we drove the long way here via Dover and up through france and germany holland and denmark.
the journey took us two days of solid driving in the August sun, with a fully packed trailer. we have a total train weight of over 4.5 tonnes. and the 110 did us proud. it didnt miss a beat.
this landy was used as a every day work vechile for a year here taking me and all my forestry kit too and from work.
but the swedish winters have been hard on my old landy so its been taken into the shed for some TLC (new chassis) but my spare time is rare.
i also have a red 300tdi 90, which i also import from england last year also for work purposes, this vechile also did the long trip but unladen. again trouble free.
right now i am working in Jonkoping cutting down the danger trees along the swedish railways, and trying to deal with the 80-120cm of snow which seems to just keep coming and coming.
all i can say is thank good for four wheel drive and studded tyres !!!
ok, i guess thats it for now.
