Snorkel problems

Right that's it! I bought a snorkel (Bearmach) for my disco, and guess what I have ABS so it won't fit.

Now I'm wondering do I send it back and do a DIY one, keep it and make an adaptor within the wing to the front of the airbox. Anyone know where I can get some large flexible tube?

Or buy one that's about the price of a small country.

Anyone got one on an ABS Disco1 if so what do you have?

This is where I made my own snorkel set up for around £80.00, and I have ABS...might give you a few pointers/tips

With the right amount of piping you can get it to come out of the original air intake no extra cutting needed other than in the outer wing

I got a defender snorkel kit,the mushroom type and off ebay got some 2 3/4" reinforced pipe/duct/hose whatever you want to call it. It was a tenner a half meter and fitted the air box and wing hole perfect.

go to an aquarium they have pipe or i have tons of it here if your close to chippenham ?

If you cut a new hole through the wing and in the air box, then,block off the hole at the front of the air box it means you can fit two batteries, one either side.
