Snorkel air ram stolen

Had my 90 parked up in a co-op car park the other night whilst we went for a curry; then found out later that the air ram had been taken of my snorkel; thiefing buggers:mad:

Have had a look for a new one on ebay but they're not cheap really; around £65 plus delivery.

Was wondering if anyone knows where to get it cheaper or if someone would have a spare one to sell for a reasonable price;)
 
Haven't checked to be honest; last time I went to them to get something for the landy they told me that they never get any land rovers:doh:
 
You can get a pretty good copy of the Safari top unit (they were being sold at the Stafford show earlier this year) and while I can't be certain they are exactly the same diameter I suspect they are. I think they were about £45?
My Safari unit is nut & bolted through using SS security screws and the grill is also nut & bolted into place, ok it can still be removed but it will take them a while to get it off.

Thanks Litch, have done a search on Safari copies and the first page I bumped in to:

A whole website dedicated on how bad these copies are with all the scientific evidence:doh:.
Will have a look into the tamper proof screws; thanks for that!
 
yes that website has been made by Safari!

lets be honest though, for every 100 chinese copies sold I would estimate that less than 5 see serious use where a snorkel is actually needed

and likely failure? maybe 1 if they are unlucky.
