Must be bored lol , Anyhow I've been reading about pump tuning and thought why not , But concerned about gas temps so without a gauge I'm not sure its wise to blunder on blindly . So only baby steps and 1 turn of the smoke screw out of 11/2 to 2 turns suggested was enough for me . Maybe my imagination but throttling up from idle felt more responsive . Not road tested as not much point for one turn .
Normally it just felt a bit hesitant then off it roars , it has plenty of power to me , but i dont boot if anything im perhaps a little gentle for want of a better word .but thought worth a try .
Read the the waste gate can sieze and cause issues so tried to move the rod by levering but no chance . is this normal , the rod felt like it was bending rather than to move .
Unless I'm going totally deaf I can't exactly hear the turbo ? , But it must be working as it drives fine and apart from the bit of hesitation/lag it pulls ok .
Guess I need a boost gauge along with the gas temp gauge .
What am I meant to hear .
I can only go off memory from my last 90 and that was a 200 , and a lot has happened between now and then . It would help if I knew someone in the macc area to take me out so I then would have a comparison .
Thames a chap down the road but his is a disco 200 in a 90 and has a straight through and smokes like Casey Jones's train (steam train) for you young'uns
Any guidance please would be great ,
