Hope i hit the right forum, i was wondering peoples opinions on where is best to source very small parts such as little banjo bolts etc. I can always find the bits online or on ebay but on most online stores if ive just broke a tiny nut causing a big problem, and the banjo bolt etc costs just pence, yet ive gotta dish out atleast a fiver for postage, any places with a way around this or am i just a tight git?! :D

find somewhere local that has it and collect or order from an online supplier that does free delivery over £50 or so and stock up on service items and other stuff you will need at some point

No sense throwing money away, and I can never seem to get what I'm after at the local parts place anyway, so I tend to use ebay a fair bit. Delivery is usually free, just use sellers who give detailed descriptions, check ratings and don't go for any obvious ropey gear. If you use a trader on there, there's no real difference, just more competition, so less mark-up.

Yeah i often get what i can from ebay, since delivery varies to working out being cheaper, but its the odd part that costs 50p, the size of a grape, but 8 quid post?! Haha, guess you come across those little parts every so often and gotta bite the bullet or stock up to save delivery!
