Freelander 2 (LR2) slow starting helf full tank

Hi Everyone
Slightly unusual problem. When the fuel tank drops below approx half full, engine takes time to start - usually taking longer as tank gets emptier. Would this be a problem with tank pump or fuel line?

Fuel line, probably porous fuel hose, or leak at filter
