:D hallo ever1, i fitted a complete rear diferential for my 300tdi defender, and it is very slow in picking or taking off at first gear, i feel the vehicle is heavier than b4. the previous 1 was lighter but when am on 5th gear you feel like shifting to 6th gear, but this one i just fitted, u dnt need even 5th gear your still at 4th, which is fine cause i get more top speed, i Wanted 2know if this is alright:confused:

This sounds strange

I would have thought that if you had replaced your rear diff with a lower ratio, your centre diff would have gone bang by now.

Would be worth checking though, Jack one wheel up on the rear, place a chalk mark on the wheel you have jacked up and one on the rear propshaft, turn the wheel round ten times and count how many revolutions the propshaft turns.
Repeat this for the front and make sure it matches.

I have heard of this happening on series vehicles but never defenders.

Odd
