slow drive home!

went for a drive today to friends house defender drove fine but on way home problems arose whilst driving up hill power fell dramatically i realised something was a miss i pulled over popped bonnet and all seems fine ticking over nicely but as soon as i drive it and change the gears power is gone again i managed to crawl home max speed 30 mph on motor way and every fecker honking horns and giving the v signs lol .filter was changed a month back but i am running on 80% diesel 20% veg oil [well filtered] could it be lift pump or filter [again] as it did feel like it was being starved of fuel

fuel filter or split in intercooler hose or turbo hose

id check the fuel tank and pick up pipe, i had the same thing with mine when a piece of insulation tape found its way in there. Fine ticking over but when it started drawing more fuel it sucked the tape over the end of the pipe

Check the hoses first, sometimes its just a jubilee clip worked loose and pipe come adrift.

thanks lads will check all those tomorrow glad i got home tho traffic back log was rather big cant believe old bill didnt turn up no wonder every one was giving me the v,s ha ha its not like you want to have problems but feck em one day they might need MY help lol
