Ive got a sloshing noise from the heater matrix area when i start the car, which im presuming is an air lock. I bled the system but by the morning it was the same - so i cam only presume something somewhere is letting air into the system and as this is the highest place in the system, the air is finding its way up there.

Im not losing any coolant so i would expect that if i had a leak i would notice, i just find it odd that if i have a break in the system somewhere i get air in as opposed to steam out when its pressurised.

I have just fitted a new genuine LR coolant cap and checked all the hoses are tight. The car gets to temp and stays there when driving, i have no cross contamination. Is it possible to pressure test the system in some way, to find the leak?

we need more info what engine.have you had any work done recently.has it overheted.does it overheat.

Have you got water in the air intake? Have a look in the 4 inch diameter pipe on the rhs in the pic in the passenger footwell.
