slipper plate - front springs

I'm looking for slipper plates for front springs. Paddocks and craddocks don't stock 'em. Does anyone know where i can get them, or have the specs so i can knock some up in the workshop?

never heard of them . i can only assume you mean the brackets that fit above the spring where by as the springs take the load the top leaf goes up against the bracket if its what i think they are you can make the out of angle iron, it would help if you could give a bit more detailor even a picture. jim

yep - its the little plate above the spring. Just found 2 at Dunsfold landrovers, so its all sorted - cheers.

Does any one know how to fix mudflaps onto a series 2A, do you need mounting brackets and does the mud flap need cut outs for the exhaust?
