slight electrical problem

just about finished my total rebuild of 1963 2a and everything went ok even changed the chassis, i have got a slight problem with the indicator warning light on the series three dash, there are two arrows in the front panel wich should start flashing as you move the indicator stalk either for right or left but mine are both on all the time, but if you move the indicator stalk to eithar left or right then the arrow flashes as it should, would this be any detrement forthe mot, evrything else is fine

The two wires from the indicator stalk (green/white to right, green/red to left) connect to the right and left repeaters (same colours) and the right and left indicator feeds (same colours). The brown/red wires from both repeaters go to earth.
