Disco 3 (LR3) Sliding boot floor

So the sliding floor I won on eBay is going to be very kindly picked up from the seller in Bristol by a D3 forum member

is from a RRS , there’s only a few mm difference between that and my D3

just got to now try and arrange to get it back to me here in Kent , looks like I may have to seriously buy some outstanding cake( plus of course fuel money )

am over the moon as these don’t come up very often, is going to be used as part of a dog ramp , as the floor comes out to the edge of the lower tailgate , then a ramp from there

also just out of curiosity looked at the new price , also see there now obsolete

I have quite fancied on of fhem, as humping heavy gear in and out of the boot is a back breaker.

Indeed , seeing the boot on the discos are quite deep , must admit have been after one for a couple of years and it was only on the off chance someone put a link on the D3 forum

one of the guys on the D3 forum kindly bid for it on my behalf as he had some automatic way of bidding right at the last minute , alas, don’t want to use a courier in case it gets marked/ damaged

thing is I don’t know where to post for a call of help , also how much I should pay to cover the persons fuel/ time etc as I’ve never asked before
