Hi to all,
Have anyone had this problem? Should I be looking for another problem in the system other that replacing the switch?

It happened a bit later than I had a spike on the temperature of the car. Maybe the radiator and the condenser were a little dirty cause the last weekend I was off roading.

Any suggestions?

Yeah when you've been off roading wash the bloody rad and condensor off so air can get through them. :D:D:D

So you think it shouldn't explode again?

Well as pressure built up the single switch should have switched the fans on, the dual pressure switch should have switched compressor off and fans to fast to reduce temp and pressure. If the condensor matrix was blocked by mud and there was a fault in the switch (crack Etc) something has to go. The switch was possibly faulty think the pressure relief on the compressor should go first before any of the system components.
