boiling water, any residue left over use wd40 (best use for it)

I'd go for hot rather than boiling. Used boiling water to get the "L" plates of my dad's Rover SD1 when I passed my test 20 something yers ago.

It bleached the paint! Oooops

Yeah but sd1 rovers were built worse than landys and painted wi baby puke!
Only decent thing about an sd1 was if it was the V8 so at least it sounded nice, Heres one for the older generation amongst us, why did the sd1 get the buick V8 and the stag got that piece of **** V8 that were 2 four cylinder engines welded together?

Many thx Gents!

I remember the SD1, plenty of grunt, I had the earlier P6 with a 3500 V8, sounded so sweet.

Both work well, but the hair dryer is more direct and controlable, also wd40 is an oil, better with brake cleaner, nothing left behind, yer gona have to clean the wd40 off.
