Hi all

I've just fitted an electric rad fan, to my Defender 90, complete with an on/off/on and on/off override Carling switches in a temporary dash panel.
Last weekend I managed to switch the override on, without knowing it, as I removed a rucksack and coat from the passenger side.
I realised what I had done 25 minutes later and considered some sort of lock would be in order.

Following loads of head scratching I came up with this simple but effective solution.
Stainless steel rod bent into a long 'C' shape and 2 small holes drilled into the switch cover. Spring the 'C' into the holes and that's it.
It works very well and even re-locks itself when the switch is clicked off.
The only possible issue may be if a bank off switches are mounted too close to each other as it may make lifting the lock a tad fiddly.

Not rocket science I know but thought someone may find this handy.
