Side window demisting

anyone tried fitting 1 of these. i dont need to blow air out the top to the windscreen so can force all out the side vents.

I need to do it on mine, but it seems a bit expensive for what is a few bits of plastic.

May try and do something similar homemade.

thanks, couldn't find any threads only for the screw on top things.

that’s what I got mate and was tempted to get what you posted above but was just too much cash for bits of plastic. Think the defender demister was 40 off quid. They do the job. Depends how picky you are I guess
 
I've looked at these and £150 is just ridiculous [though do understand cost associated with the modified ducts]. A quick ebay search gives a huge choice of flexible spiral tube https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_...TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=flexible+pvc+tube

So just splice into air intakes and tap off with a rubber seal and run flexible tube to point near to window for demisting. Logically, one should use mid-narrow bore flexible to keep up warm air velocity for greater demist efficiency.
