hi people, hope your all ok, ive just been out having a really really good look at my landy, and have noticed that there is a huge amount of wasted space on the sides (but underneath), ive just been looking on the web and i know you can get side lockers for them, but the one place i have found want bout £500 for them, does anyone here no a place i could get them from, i was thinking bout looking for an old millatary landrover, but i cant seem to find any for scrap. I really just need the side lockers and a door, as im happy doing the fitting my self.

thanks again people for your time

do a search on the web lots of people have made their own. also try 4x4 breakers.

Are you sure that was for side locker and not Mobile Solutions storage lockers? They go inside the back of ur vehicle not outside like the ones you want.

hi guys, yes that price is correct (i appologise about £160 of that was labour) but these people paid £125 ish per box, and that was at a show special price, god knows what the normal price is, ill give the breakers a look at, i just dont see the point of spending out hundereds and hundreds on some side lockers, specially as i want 3 of them lol

Another option is ta cut a hole in the wheel boxes inside the rear tub. then buy a couple of big ammo boxes and fit em under the wheel boxes so ya can access em from inside the vehicle.

the one from scorpian are too small, im after the ones that carry 2 20lt jerry cans, but i think you guys are right, ill attempt to build my own, i think it would be a lot more pleasing to diy it lol

hi everyone, thanks for all helping me with the above, i finally got 5 min to have a look and my god, there is so much wasted storage underneath a landrover, i could bleeding sleep under there .

i have definatly decided on some kind of storage for extra fuel, but im not paying out to have custom fuel tanks built lol, im looking at making some side lockers for it, or even just bolt on a couple of jerry can holders (i think that would work but needs a little modifying :p ) that way i can keep my price down,

ill keep you all posted if you have any ideas im open to suggestions.

thanks again people
