Side steps

Just a question regarding after market steps.

The ones listed on eBay that state no drilling required (I think they were Maxx branded).
That appear to use existing holes underneath, obviously they don't cause problems with the jacking points do they ?

The ones I took off the other day (hopefully will be my new ones lol) had an L shaped for bar with a thread that hangs down and then the footplate bolts onto the threads 3 each side
