have just spent a miserable 2 hours fitting so called easy fit side steps (NOT) and am now wondering how the hell am i going to jack the car up when i get a puncture ??? Does this mean im going to have to keep a trolly jack in the boot. EASY FIT MY ASS !!!!!!

And why do you need side steps on a freelander.....if they were any lower they wouldn't get over speed bumps

I think your supposed to put them carry handles higher up.

There being the "easy fit part", with enough lube of course, why fit side steps to an already low car

Freelanders have a bad enough rep without people hanging "pretty" sidesteps off them. Take them off & get them down to your local recycle centre to be turned into cake tins & fit a set of Slider Z's, you can actually jack off them.................that doesn't sound right, I mean Jack on them ...................sounds worse !!, anyway they are just what you need
