Some info and help please. Needing new shocks and rebushing my 90 (1996 Tdi). 50% on / off road use, running on 265/75/16 BFG AT rubber, fitted with front mounted winch, roof tent fitted April to November and carry all the associated junk with traveling. Occasionaly tow a trailer with 6 mountain bikes . Some advice on what shocks and polybush bushes worked for you .................. 'kiltedchico'

if yer dunt want a lift there's nowt wrong wiv Armstrong shocks - bout 15 squids each.
Standard / oem bushes are better than crappy poly bushes.

Hola Hughesy, been running oem since day one with out any problems, you are probably right, but with so much choice in the after sales market out there these days thought i'd ask around. Tracks and normal country roads pretty lumpy here in Spain / Portugal and across the water in Morocco.

Buenos tardis Treworgy 90. Had Armstrongs fitted to a 2 door 80's RR, many moons ago, found the casing rusted through quickly, but that could have been due to the amount of salt they chuck on Scotlands roads in winter. Don't have that problem here in Spain ! Just dust n sand every where !!!!!
