Hi there , as the owner of one of the above , ie series lll , 88" , 1978 , in diesel , and the proud owner of a working Fairey overdrive with above attached , I am honoured to be part of your forum . This old pile which has contributed in no small way to my deteriorating hearing , savings , and sometimes my mental health ,is like an old gun dog , always there when you need it , no questions asked ,and does what it says on the tin , ie , starts drives and rusts ! It has taught me a lot and I hope to learn more from your great site , and maybe share from my pool of disasters and highs which I have experienced driving "fizzy " !!
