So i have finally recovered this Series 2a from its resting place in a field for 2 many years to understand. Now shes home the fun begins or the nightmare one or the other. Started stripping her today and every nut and bolt is rusted and needs grinding off. Can the bulkhead be repaired in place or does it have to be reoved and caengine stay in place if i have to remove the bulkhead

Depends on the level metal versus rust that left. Could hide a multitude of sins from top to bottom. If as a project you say best think of a long project.

It'll depend where and what needs replacing on your bulkhead. I completely stripped mine and replaced just about every nut and bolt
