The fun continues......

For previous info on current issues please see the original thread....'Think Tank Run Dry on Non Starting 3.9RRC.....

The gas system as far as I can tell is a Lovato M198 thingy-me-jig....bought the car like it, have no idea on the gas install at all......

Now she runs by bypassing the second ignition amplifier, does anyone have any idea how to wire the LT side of this up....

Previously...from what I gather....the amp on the dizzy was connected to the Pick Up terminals on the second amp......The output of the second amp was then connected to the coil.......

Which terminals go where (they must be polarity sensitive)?

Any ideas??? I don't want to get it wrong and knacker one or both of the amps.....they are brand new fitted today...(see other post etc...etc...)

Rgds,
Anthony.

P.S. she's a '93 RRC 3.9 Lucas Hotwire, LPG, 14cux, ...blah...blah...blah

Great many thanks, but this refers to the LovECO system with emulators etc....mine doesn't have them.....

The gas controller etc is all wired up, it is the ignition LT side with the second ig.amp i need to know about.....

Thank you though....

Does no-one have any ideas at all of how this system works..???

I have 2 ignition amps...one on the dizzy and one next to the coil.......

Do I wire the first to the second by putting the wire that would go to the +ve terminal on the coil to the + pickup input of the second amp and the - to the - pickup point...?????

Or is it the other way round........how do I connect the second Amp to the coil....? in the same way...???

Or does the +ve still go direct to both amps and on the negative goes to _ve of the coil from the scond amp....?????

HELP.......

UPDATE......

Bit the bullet and just turned on the gas without adjusting bugger all or wiring in this mysterious second ignition amp........

Works brilliantly......took the beast upto Woburn and back...(a trip of about 140 miles) not a single mumour or backfire or nothing.

I am a happy chappy once again.

Hi ,I also have a 93 ' SE auto with Lovato system installed in 2000. the 198 type rings a bell . I have all the docs with it , including wiring diagrams ! I could photo copy it all and post it to you if you like.
