Common knowledge that one, just look at your lights beam pattern when they're dipped.

lights should always shine to the side of the road on which you're travelling, i.e. the kerb / verge.

I understand completely the beam direction, it's common sense -I think you missed my question - emphasised in bold about difference in LHD & RHD

Why would they be more directed and where is the source of that information? As far as I'm aware LHD & RHD are equally directed to their correct bias of direction
