Serpentine belt

Hi. Looking for some knowledge. I have brought new belt and tensioner as getting squeaky. Is it a bigger job than it seems to change tensioner as spring part is tucked away behind air con pump and alternator on freelander 2.0 td4 2002. Is it a case of dropping out air con and alternator? But then how do you get the pulley arm in ?? Any advice appreciated
