Serpentine Belt

Serpentine Belt was screaming when cold, but stopped when engine warmed up. Put new belt on today but still doing it. Nothing siezed as I checked everything when belt was off. Any suggestions?

Try and localise the noise. Most likely coming from from the altenator as it has extra load just after starting as it recharges the battery and run runs whatever Electrics you have one. Also check the belt is tight enough. What type of engine is it?

Check tension of belt n tensioner pulley....then buy some Rosin (yes, Rosin!). rub a little on the belt whilst engine idling
