Seeing as work killed off my hopes of heading up to Scotland with the rest of the gang.... Myself and Tracey headed up to a, nice little campsite close to the "Dogs home" secret base of leafer Ness and site of many "holey relics"
After a swift phone call from mate a cunning plan was hatched and we set to work....
I needed to treat one of the leaky fool tanks on the FFR with some magic leak stopping potion so, after that was set aside to dry we set to work extricating a long parked lightweight from the depths...
We needed to move the lightweight so that we could shift Vinnies long term s2 station wagon project into the workshop.
New batteries and clutch slave cylinder and we had a running lightweight BUT with a stuck clutch grrrrrr
After a drive up the private road after starting it in gear and getting everything warmed up we stopped and restarted in 4th gear and had a working clutch.... Result.
Pressed straight into service a 'Dogs home tug' we dragged Vinnies StaWag out of the Bush....
The lightweight was last on the road 2008 ish.... EOTD Event of the decade.... The event we used to run at Hartington quarry Derbyshire ....
