Series v8

I'm going to fit a rover v8 in my series. Has anyone in or near wiltshire done this as I would like to pick there brains on doing it and my be have a look at there's if possible. I would really appreciate it . Many thanks.

Im just about to pull a V8 out of a 109 if thats of interest

Im just north of Swindon. Ive already started. Just need to find a engine crane to pull it out.

That's a shame. I'm away for two weeks. If you've not got it out by The 24th I will pop up with my engine crane and give you a hand .

Quite a bit on this subject on this forum. Youll need motor plus bellhousing adaptor, mounts, flywheel, clutch plate and bearing if you can, exhaust if you can, throttle linkage, elec fuel pump, oil pump remote or angled adaptor plus other bits. Grab it all if available from another conversion. Youll need to cut the footwells a bit.

That's why I need to have a look at one that's all ready done . My series is stripped right down at mo so may be best to fit engine and gear box then work around it when refitting body ?
