My series lll timing is currently set at 6 degres ATDC per the haynes manual says, does this sound right? And whats yours currently set at?

Ah right, mine does actually sound a little sweeter back towards TDC a little,, But going by what the haynes manual says I assumed it had to be set at 6 ATDC due to the octane of fuel been used. Mines the later engine with the timing marks on the crank shaft and emmision controls and set using a strobe on idle of 850rpm (if this makes any differenence)
