Hi, after replacing my brake master cylinder and most of my brake lines I have had a hell of a time bleeding the front wheels. I bought a Gunson bleed kit while in the UK in March which helped but I still had air in the front lower cylinders. I had already drilled and tapped bleed screws into the top front cylinders which helped.
I ended up removing the lower cylinder dust covers, then after pressurising the system I pried the brake shoe away from the cylinder slowly allowing the slave piston to push out. Just as the seal was getting to the end of the bore I tipped the front of the piston down allowing the trapped air out of the upper part of the cylinder bore, I then allowed the shoe to start pushing the piston back then released the pressure off the system. I repeated this for the other side and now have brakes again
I am now able to take the Landy to the British car show in Fort Erie, Ontario for the Canada Day weekend. Hope this helps out folks with Series brake issues.
