It is a case of they all do that sir. My series 3 hard top can be in a real downpour and stay dry, other days a light rain and you could swim in it. I have sealed bugger everything over the last 3 years and never cured it.

took me ages to seal mine but now finally dry!
was coming in around windscreen frame past perished rubbers and even past the glass itself!
I used "captain Tolleys creeping crack cure" that fixed it.
I also sealed the valley between the footweel wall and the inner mudshield, and any where I could see light. also check where thge windscreen wiper drive goes through the bulkhead, I put some plumbing O rings in there and that stopped the leak which had rotted my lower dash panel.
hope this helps!

Joint between the screen, bulkhead and door seem to be a favourite point to leak. And you'll need to make sure the vent seal rubbers are good.

I'd drill a hole in the floor, job done!

....or add fish instead!

I managed to improve my leaks a huge amount by fettling the seals. I bought some thin self adhesive 3 groove draught excluder seal from B & Q and stuck this neatly on the door along the top edge and also the front vertical edge when it closes to the bulkhead / screen frame. This provides a tighter water seal and the door shuts tighter against the usual standard seals.

Would definitely recommend getting inside with a torch whilst parked in heavy rain. .....you'll probably find a good few places to focus your attention on!

I had carpeted the footwells and had a leak behind the carpet that eventually routed the foot well through without me realising. Since I have taken carpet out no further problems.

Carpeting not recommended

Well folks glad to report I've found the problem .... The seal between the screen surround and bulkhead was letting water in then running down back of dash then dripping on to mat!!!

I've gone for the drill hole in floor idea works well after bit of rain no puddle but before would get a puddle, mine goes in under the window seal I was supplied seems just cm to short and gives u the water feature in the Landy :)
