Series 3 Truck cab

Hi , i have been interested in Land rovers for many years and bought my first trusty diesel 2 1/4 series 3 last year and my second series 3 2 1/4 petrol about a month ago.

Which came with the roof and glass back section of a truck cab, so my question is, if you guys can help:

what other parts do i need to convert to a truck cab and does any one have any instructions on how to do this.

The job is simplicity it self just undo all the bolts holding the hardtop on. and remove easy job for on person. and fit the truckcab in its place. I believe you need a plate that bolts to the rear bulkhead to close the gap between the bulkhead and truckcab. But it's been a long time since I looked at a series So I may be wrong.

Yup - yu need a closing plate - but I have seen cp ones - even ply .

may need to move your seat belt mounts to

As Redhand said about the plate, but only applies to SWB not LWB.

A tailgate if you have a back door

I have today just picked up a tailgate, so just the closing plate needed

does anyone know where i can get a closing plate, i ve had a look at the usual parts sites.

A lot of people break Land Rovers, I'm sure it's just the case of asking the right person, and I'm sure you'll find someone in the know, perhaps someone on here will be close enough to you and even have one.
