series 3 to defender

hi all, i have a rover diff and need the oil seals that sit just inside the diff where the swivel housing attaches,the swivel housing retainer plate bolts and the bolt locker tabs that fit against the brake back plate,could the defender parts be the same,as landrover state they no longer stock these parts....cheers

I think you are getting the terminology mixed up. Surely it's the axle case oil seals you want? Widely available

that is a possiblity if they are at the ends of the diff, i think they mybe call pinion seals

They are diff pinion seals.

The diff only has one end where the pinion oil seal is. Are you still maybe getting the terminology wrong? The diff is the big heavy lump bolted into the middle ish of the axle case. From your description it's the axle case oil seals you are referring to. They sit at either end of the axle case like these
