series 3 swb diesel

hi folks
just got my first order of many from paddocks(only half the stuff turned up) and i am needing some advice i have been looking at the extended shackles for the springs and i am wondering what i would need for this apart from longer shocks and brake pipes and is this easy to do cheers agian

furst orf , before you ordered yer extended shackles did you check yer bushes?.
you'll probably find that you'll have to cut the old bolts out so i hope you got new ones.
if you try and undo the bolts be prepared to lose yer knuckles on atleast one hand

hi i haven't bought the shackles yet just the springs u bolts and the big bolts that go through the hangers i had seen a picture in one of the landrover mags that showed how good the articulation is just checkking if any other things need changed some one told me it could cause issues with the propshafts being at a different angle

issues!! issues!! you mean problems shirley? it could cause problems if you lift it too high, more than about 2" which yer not , are you?

not sure how high it will lift it this is my first landy its just when the springs are being changed i thought it might be ok to fit the longer shackles and possibly bigger tyres
