Hi All my first post.
Just bought series 3 88 i was looking at site Wright off road for sound proofing, any coments on it would be welcome. however in his photos he has a small handbrake lever rather than the normal fitted to mine. being a big chap this would be good for me any one know if its a common modification.

haha, that is what its all about:lvbed-032:

With sheep skin lining, get all the sides done in cream leather, you would have yourself a luxury liner, get a nice mahogany coffee table sorted ;)

Leather, sheep and real hardwood…….how to turn a landrover into a stately home

Suppose I could make a mahogany cubby box and sell the exmoor one :D

Hello and welcome, not seen the picture, but if the handbrake you discribed just pokes straight out of the seat base, it will probably be a series one lever.
As fitted to a series one, it's easy to reach down to floor level to pull it on, as you won't have a seat belt on. Fit it to a series three, you may find you get slightly strangled as you lean forward to pull it on as the belt inertia reel locks up. Hope this helps.
