I have bought a hard top with a fitted liner. Is it possible to clean it or even paint it to make it more white? Could I paint it with emulsion paint ?

Years ago, my wife had the bright idea of painting the vinyl seats of her Mini with emulsion. It flaked off pretty quickly.:lol:
