We are restoring an old series 3, the engine runs sweet, just sorting brakes etc, then see where we go regarding rust....
My question though is more about the history of this vehicle, currently the milage is just over 8000m, from looking at bit on it we reckon it might be genuine, I was told by the previous owner it had spent most of its life in storage for the army, however my mechanic says he doesn't think its military as various parts are not there. How can we find our more detail. Have the reg and vin numbers.
