hi, im going to need a road going landrover (well i suppose car but it was allways going to be a landrover:D) in a couple of years for when im 17, but being me i cant just do it the easy way  so im doing another full rebuild... so what ive got myself is 2 series 3's in need of alot of work. so...
one has:
2.25 diesel (getting rebuilt and maybe turbo'd)
standard gearbox
standard axles
knackered springs
pretty knackered chassis, but repairable...
rear tub
wings
cut to pieces seat box
steering box
no roof
no doors
ummm a fair amount missing but likewise it has a fairly rust free bulkhead etc
the other has:
no engine
a gearbox
both axles
free wheeling hubs
fairly rust free chassis
hard top
rear tub
good seat box
no doors
no front end really

you get the idea, lots of work, just what i need :eek::D

so it should be a nice project, with not too much fabrication.... well compared to my v8 suzuki sj (dont worry, its got landy engine, box, axles etc :D) and the s2 hybrid
ill try and get some pics on saturday.... :D

cant wait to see this after following your remarkable thread last year im shortly gonna be doing me own if all goes well with this little business venture

went down the farm today, and so ive taken a few pics, only of one, had a good look and the front of the chassis is fecked but its got a good rear 1/4 so that will probably get welded to the rear of the other chassis, so much for not alot of fabrication :doh::D
did i say it was going to be a nice project :eek::D
i did also find a rather interesting trailor, so i will hopefully buy that when ive got a series going, and also got some money again...

hmmm yeah, i think i might sell the two to buy a galv chassis, the thing is i have most of the bits anyway in parts, but i thought it would make sense to build one out of the two, we'll see what happens....
