Series 3 Land Rover

I’m currently trying to start my series , changed oil charged battery and changed coolant,
However now battery is in, I have no lights on dashboard and no sound of the engine turning over. Same output as my landy with no battery just nothing ! very stuck
Could do with tips. thanks

It hasn’t been moved in two years, but battery is charged. completely dead though.

as there is not much electrics on a series a multi meter should find the fault.

Yes I’m obsessed with my series 3 haha I just have little experience on vehicles. Not sure how it works with forums ? Do I just reply on a relevant forum with my question ? Even if it’s on someone else’s project ??

If you go into the series section or the general land rover section top right hand side you will see post new thread click on that put in your title them ask your question giving as much detail as you can on motor and what is wrong and you will get the help you need.

Think I managed to put it in the right place . Hopefully I can get it going again. Loved riding around in the back of it when I was younger.

This is Nelson the diesel series 3.
I’ve got a complete blackout no power no lights on a fresh battery still. Following up the positive and negative cables again hoping to find something shorted or loose or dirty.
